A very sunny Saturday (and a still poorly girl!)

Today has been beautifully sunny all day! I can't believe how warm it has been! So lovely in fact that Kirsten and Bear were both able to play on their bikes and then we went to the garden centre and sat outside for our coffee and cakes! (Just in case anyone wonders - the children did not have coffee - it was only Ian and I!)

Kirsten seemed a lot better and even helped me mow the lawn and plant the new rhubarb that we bought from the garden centre however come 5.30pm she fell asleep on the sofa and when I woke her up for dinner (her favourite - lasagna and garlic bread) her temperature had rocketed, she did try to sit at the table and eat with us but she just burst into tears and said she wanted to go to bed - poor little monkey - so I gave her some calpol and popped her into bed!

This was her during her feeling well stage of the day helping me to do the gardening - well spreading the grass cuttings around on the border!
