GOOD DEEDS

The 9.0 magnitude earthquake that hit North-East Japan and the tsunami that followed have already killed over 7600 people and left more than hundred thousand homeless. The infrastructure in the disaster areas is completely gone, and there's even a nuclear power plant that's in a rather critical condition...

The Red Cross is now accepting donations for its Disaster Relief Fund. I spent 4 hours walking around in a Red Cross vest collecting donations today. Most of the Japanese exchange students have been active too. These two have spent 3 days collecting money on the streets.

It must feel strange helping your home country from far away.

(I uploaded 17 backblips in total just now, please check them out too!)
