We had an international cuisine themed party at my Dad's house tonight, where we also had to dress as a person from the origin of the food.

Well we had Mario and Luigi, a member of High School Musical, the Lee family, the chav's (without Pot Noodles though) and finally a snowman (PW had got his food from Iceland .... i know very very poor!).

Amy and I made Chakalaka an african spicy bean dish which i used to have for dinner every day when i lived out there. It was real tasty too, Amy got the recipe from her Zimbabwean friend and we'll definitely be making it again for ourselves some time.

I went as a Boer, although my first choice would have been a Zulu a loin cloth at a family party is probably appropriate.
