Lemur catta

These little guys are one of the latest additions to the Toronto Zoo. I spoke with some of the keepers a few weeks ago when they first arrived and were still in quarantine. My weekly trip to the zoo was no where near as enjoyable as it usually is, I forgot it is march break! There were people EVERYWHERE, usually I only see 10-20 cars in the parking lot. This week, the lot was full! I love children, I used to work as an Early Childhood Educator, but they made it impossible for me to complete my assignment. I also couldnt help but wonder if the ringtailed lemurs were behaving differently because of the combination of their new enclosure and all the noisy people. Made me feel a little sad for them, as they are generally calm, inquisitive animals. Anyway, it ended up being an excellent day for me! Last week I heard that I got into York Uni, and today I found out I got into Concordia and McMaster! I was admitted to all the schools I applied to!:) I'm actually really scared about doing my Masters, I'll have to take on a TA position to pay for school and I don't know how great a teacher I am. Anyway, I hope everyone had a great St. Patty's day!
