Learn Something New Everyday!

We went to have breakfast with my parents his morning, you can see by the cup where we went. Yes, Waffle House, the restaurant that everyone goes to but hates to tell people. I don't know why.....

Anyway, my mom gets her coffee "to go" and she started pulling on the tab tryng to rip it off, my husband noticed and told her that she's suppose to bend it backward and clip it on the cup and if she wants to shut it back over her coffee she can.

I wish I had taken a photo of my moms face when she learned this facinating piece of news. It was like the television had been invented all over again. She couldn't believe it. She said all this time she had been ripping the tab off, spilling her coffee, getting frustrated with the cup and they've invented this great new lid she had not even noticed.

It was a wonderful way to start the day, seeing her smile and laugh. She looked at that cup all the way to her car. She was like a child discovering a whole new world.....LOL
