Ocotillo

The ocotillo are just starting to bloom here. I have tried getting pictures of this plant several times but they are so tall and slender they don't show up well for me if they are against any background other than blue sky. Today I saw this plant, it's about 9-10 feet tall, and I liked the image of the flowers against the blue sky. I'm going to try again and get the whole plant but it will have to be in just the right setting.
