the frozen (mighty) bow

Suddenly Spring threatens and all the photos of the frozen river are at a premium (snapped this walking back tonight)

All we dream about is a break from the cold - and when it arrives - we all miss the insanity... the frozen soap bubbles - imminent frostbite.. all the fun of winter. It is 'break up' melting all around - the winter suicides bob to the surface and all od a sudden we have another colour - Brown!

will lurk tomorrow and capture a bit of spring (Oh no! snow forecast...)
