Perigee

Apparently the moon is at its Perigee. ????

Or if I have read the "boys own book of astronomy" correctly, the closest it has been to earth since 1983.

Or to put it in terms I can understand at this time of the morning, the nearest and brightest it has been in ages.

As friends will know I cant resist a good moon shot so I couldn't let this milestone go unblipped. As this was taken at 1/200th of a second at F5.6 I have to agree, it really was one bright moon.
