Back and Forth

Some steps forward and some backwards today. We may be closer to sorting out our situation in Scotland, which is good, and there has been some movement on a potentially expensive legal issue in France, which is neutral as the movement is not forwards but sideways. (Yes, that statement is as obtuse as our French lawyer is proving to be at the moment.)

And we lost a house we might have rented out there, so back to the drawing board on that one.

But we had mince and tatties and orange surprise cake for dinner after a fine walk on the beach, and my doctors have passed me fit for purpose at a check up (very odd check up - I drove into Edinburgh, waited 45 minutes to see the doctor who asked "How have you been?" When I said "fine, mainly", that seemed good enough for her and she said I could go. Which makes it all very quick and I was delighted to have no blood tests, but it's a long drive for something I could have told myself - and did.)
