Bomble out and about
The cabin by the rear patio called me on my return from a hard week's work, with a gin and tonic and Bomble for company. It was very warm inside, being wonderfully insulated, and it is such a treat to sit out in our view.
I went down to the bottom of the garden to record the first sighting of the wonderful white-flowered tree in full bloom across the valley. I will blip it later when the sun is shining on it. I had a few minutes of play with the fading light and the longish lens. Bomble was very frisky, jumping up onto several sheds, where he could keep a good eye on all his territory. At one point he leapt down the side of the shed and tore up the garden to see off his ex-friend from next door. Kittens sadly grow up and become rivals at times.
The sun sets through the gap in the Cotswold escarpment, carved out once upon a time by the waters of the five valleys of Stroud. It shines through the gap more and more as summer progresses. Bomble has now come to stand on the keyboard and rub his head against my fingers as I try to type :O) (various bits of editing of Bomble's typing have just occurred).
The flash has prompted one of those strange cat's eye effects, and I have played a bit. But the sunset was fine and Bomble is such an affectionate companion for this blipper.
