Film premiere tomorrow!

With the premiere of the film "West Ashton: Our Village History" tomorrow lunch time, I thought it was fitting that I should take a photo in the village today. This was also helped by the fact that it was horrible weather this morning (when I was out of the village) and lovely afternoon sunshine when I was back!

So I popped down to the lake in Rood Ashton to see what was about and snapped this goose. I really like the way the light gives it that evening light feeling and creates a little of a lens flare. I was also determined to dust off the 70-300 zoom lens again and get some use out of it, rather than always using the portrait lens, and had good fun playing with the settings.

Lets hope the sunshine continues for a lovely weekend and fingers crossed the premiere goes well tomorrow :)
