We love Fridays. They're great! Katie woke in a wonderful mood, I could hear her singing and chattering through the monitor and she met me with a beautiful beam. We started off with gymnastics. Katie had a ball, she was the first through the door when it opened and charged straight to the apparatus, stopping only to charge across the hall when Ava arrived.

The girls had fun at soft play, building towers, going round a track the lady had built, playing in the little ball pool. And Katie ate. In the course of gymnastics and soft play, she ate a full sandwich and most of 2 hotdog sausages. Despite this, when the girls had their lunch, she still ate a lot of her pasta, a yogurt, a box of raisins and a full cup of juice! They were both looking whacked afterwards though.

Katie very quickly fell asleep in the buggy so completely missed seeing the friend we met! She woke up as I put her in the car to go to her swimming lesson and was really excited. She continued to be very excited as we got changed, walked to the pool, waited at the pool and throughout the lesson! It was a bit chillier than normal so she didn't last her usual hour, she did maybe 45 minutes but she really enjoyed what she did do and was swimming very hard and splashing and grinning when we did songs.

After swimming we met Granny and Grandad for afternoon tea - Katie ate then again too, despite having eaten a full banana after swimming. I think she must be about to have a big grow!
