the bees are sleeping

Hopefully just sleeping. The last few years have been devastating for pollinators. The colony collapse disorder of the honeybees. And the even more dramatic decimation of the bats in New England, and increasingly other parts of the country. I never realized how much I would miss standing outside at night with the bats swooping in at dusk to get the mosquitoes.
