The rare Stone Owl of Northern Scotland.

This fine pair of Stony Owls Strix petrophilus have set up home in our porch where they are kept busy feeding a growing youngster.

Mum and dad were made back in the 1960s with pebbles from the local beach. The owlet came along years later, the creation of our own young lad when he was about 7 years old.
