Seeing red!

The playground was awash with red this morning, as the children and staff have dressed up to raise money for Comic Relief. We were supposed to make monster masks for today - I think ours would have looked more appropriate in one of last week's Mardi Gras celebrations! My kids were pleased with them, though, especially as I managed to stick their red noses on the front.

I can still remember the first Red Nose Day. I hadn't long been in my first proper job and we all dressed up and went round the local pubs at lunchtime with buckets and managed to collect over £2000. Great fun but phew - that was a lifetime ago!
