Back to the Bookshelf

As the news from Japan continues to get worse by the day, I've finally had to admit that booking a long autumn visit there just isn't a good idea.

I feel really sorry for everyone caught up in what now looks like a triple disaster, and as soon as things get back to some level of normality I will remake my plans. I fear it's going to be a year or two before that happens, but if any country is going to be able get back to normal in the short term, it is Japan.

For me, it's back to my Lonely Planet bookshelf.
