Bluebirds

This morning I was at the bedroom window spying on two starlings who were staking out a hole in the barn as a possible construction site for their new home. Suddenly these gorgeous fellows showed up and perched on the electrical wire a few feet away from me. I nearly fell over and lost the lens cap out the window in my excitement!

But I got them...one in mid-flight.

Not quite as exotic as the green parakeet that appeared for Max Ellis yesterday, but still, good timing from the Goddess of birdie blips!
