British Airways Business Lounge, Edinburgh 5.30am.

......too right hen...I'm tired too!!

The offer of free bran flakes and mini danish pastries in the lounge is scant reward for a 4.30am start to my day.

Looking around me as the gang of portly 50 year old executives pushed and shoved and tutted at each other in the race to get on the plane...which wasn't going anywhere until we were all on anyway?...I wondered when they lost their soul to The Man and began to behave like him too.

Note to family: shoot me if I get like them.
