Glen Nevis

Glen Nevis in Lochaber is beautiful at any time of year, but with a bit of sunshine and snow still on the tops, it is truly glorious. The glen starts at Fort William, with the Water of Nevis at its heart. In places, the river cascades down into deep moody gorges, in other places it is gentle and pretty. To the North is the Nevis Range with the highest mountains in Britain, to the south, as in this picture, the Mamore Range.
