The Ferry leaves for Orkney

Another busy day at work and it is Friday tomorrow so roll on! The weeks just seem to speed by at an alarming rate. Three weeks and one day till the Easter holidays!

I see the ferry (MV Hamnavoe) leaving Scrabster every lunchtime on it's way over the Pentland Firth to Orkney and have taken many shots of it but they have always looked a little dull - like something you might see on the ferry company's brochure. Today I managed to get a jaunty blue, red, yellow and white boat in the frame along with the lighthouse to make it a little more interesting.

The boat in the foreground reminds of the lego boats I used to build with my sons when they were young. Same colours.
