It's my birthday!

It's been a funny day -


- got up at 6am to go and get the spring fixed

- had a chip supper for breakfast

- drove to Durness (where this picture was taken, Cocoa Mountain is brilliant)

- went to Smoo Cave, which is excellent, we'll definately go back

- saw several rainbows

- went to Thurso, John O' Groats and Wick

- drove back down the east coast behind a big lorry whose driver was struggling to keep control going round all the scary corners

- nearly ran out of petrol

- ordered a steak in Lairg, which we then had to send back because it was raw in the middle. Even the manager said it was "inedible".

- got back to the caravan at 11.30, too tired to open any cards or presents!
