Switching Station

Thinking about poor Japan and their electrical power station problems. This could be one of their nightmares.

Caution Tech Stuff:

Coming home from a theater in Jackson Michigan I spotted this electric power switching station. I shot this as a 3 shot HDR and when I was done it looked awful. I went for a single shot and adjusted for some punch. Still wonderfully boring so I added a blur layer and mixed it back using the difference mode. I pulled the whites up so it had some punch. Pulled a crop and we're done.

This is one of those times where what you are shooting does work well in the final product. I almost pitched the whole thing but I'm happy with this...
