Something's missing

So, du vin, du boursin... no, there's something else missing from here. Oh, hang on, it's du pain; du pain, du vin, du boursin...

Many years ago Mrs BH and I went on holiday to the Dordogne with a couple of friends, and stopped for lunch on the drive down. The only food we had was a couple of baguettes and some fromage, and Mrs BH believes it was the best lunch she's ever had. Needless to say, we repeated the menu on numerous occasions since then, sometimes even adding a cheeky glass of Bordeaux or similar.

So often it's the simplest things that are the finest.
