Spoons
It is national 'Restaurant Week' this week: dining for a relatively low price in every involved restaurant. We went to 'Lepels' ('Spoons') in Schiedam, based on their positive reviews. And deservedly so: the food was amazing (the clumsy waiters were a bit less appealing). It started with an amuse-bouche of chicory in truffle moyonnaise, followed by an appetizer of tuna and Jerusalem artichoke. The main was a very tasteful entrecote and for desert we got a lasagna of chocalate and vanilla ice cream.
Can I say mmmmm....
Unintentionally the dinner got an extra touch: we sold our house today! So now we entered a new phase of looking for places to live.
