Venice Beach

My mother, my sister, and I went to Venice Beach this past weekend. It was the first time I had been. The streets were crowded with panhandlers, street performers, carpet baggers, and tourists. It was quite a scene. I felt very comfortable among all the weirdos and the freak-shows. My family members were quite as comfortable.

We went toward the beach to watch the skateboarders drop into a half-pipe. After that got old, we laid out on the beach to get a tan. It was a nice day.
