Snow capped hills of Torridon

Looking out over Portree Cemetry & the entrance to Loch Portree. To The Isle of Raasay and beyond to the hills of Torridon. As you can see we have had a lovely bright sunny day today. A day to enjoy because this being Skye it is likely to be cloudy tomorrow and quite possibly wet.

It is days like today that the reason we chose to settle here become so very apparent. However if every other day was like this and there were no midgers the place would be totally spoilt with the many who would choose to live here also.

I love the Isle of Skye and I wouldn't change it for the world!
