so much luck

There are 3 ladybugs in my room right now. I have no idea where they all came from.

The first one is dead. I heard it flying around a few days ago; clicking against things as it tried to make its way outside. At some point it decided that flying into my lamp was a good idea. It didn't survive the heat.

The second was a potential blip subject. It landed on my computer screen and walked along the top of it... and then made a bee-line for the lightbulb. I shook the lamp and it fell out with its legs tucked underneath it, in traditional "dead bug" fashion, but it must have just stunned it, because as I'm writing this it started walking around, and then flew onto the wall. I thought it was scorched pretty badly, but it seems to be doing alright now.

The third is alive and well somewhere in a pile of my jeans (unless it's moved on). It was very cooperative when I brought my camera over and started snapping pictures, and it is the one featured as my blip today.

I hope they bring good luck and good fortune.
