I love it when the chef comes home.

Number three daughter, the chef, is on holiday this week - what a joy. Cycling home from work tonight I was wondering what I might rustle up for my late supper, to be greeted by a still warm Victoria Sponge, (WI method, for the initiated). I was happy to utilise my bike lamp for the lighting. The cake was, and still is 'cos there's some left, truly scrumptious. Thanks Sal. x
