Spotlights

Woo Hoo!

Thanks to all those who commented on my "Tangle" yesterday, and helped me reach the spotlight page today.

Was going to blip another cute pup today, but nearly crashed the car on the way home when I saw the mist around the castle, and had to go round the roundabout twice to get turned round to divert via an appropriate parking/blipping spot on the way home.

This then involved me leaving my lovely warm car, slithering down a small banking, fiddling with a chain to partially open a gate, then squelching through a rather muddy field to find a decent spot in which to place my tripod. A further several minutes were then spent fiddling with exposures and apertures, in the dark with increasingly cold and numb fingers until I got something that looked like it was meant to be on film, rather than a dark blurry mess.
Out of the gate, careful to replace the chain, slithered up the banking, and snuggled into the heaated seat on the drive home.
I had already phoned hubby to say I was on the way home, so the fact that I was then 20 minutes late and he was cooking dinner did not go unnoticed.

I have now spent more of my life blipping and editing and commenting, than my husband has actually had the pleasure of my conversation in the last two months!
(I think he is officially peeved, although I have offered him a camera to join me).
