Net Repair

The steps at the north end of Playa La Ropa are often crowded with families attempting to escape the sun, but this morning all was quite as this fisherman worked on his net. I tried a variety of angles, some that showed more of him and his net, but was drawn to this atmospheric shot. I really liked the texture of the rock and the color of the plant framing his face. If I was more proficient at PhotoShop, I would probably try to remove the frond in front of his face, but overall I still thought this shot the best of the series.
