"Infamy, infamy..."

"I've come all the way from Great Portland Street for this!" as Kenneth Williams used to opine on Just A Minute. The aparment block where he lived and died, and which carried his blue plaque used to be just to the left of this picture. I watched it being demolished as I passed it every day on the bus a few years ago, to be replaced by a large glass and steel structure. Over to the right there's a Pizza Exp well known restaurant which has large black and white photos of him on the wall.
