Stone signpost

This stone has been around for many years where I live. As a young kid I walked past it to get to the local sweet shop!

The fact that it said Daventry was half a mile away confused me greatly as a child. That itself gives you an idea how old the stone must be, as the town has more than quadrupled in size over the past few years...
