Cherry Blossom

We had our Cherry Blossom tree cut down today. Unfortunately over the years the roots have lifted right out of the ground, some of them have even started to lift our patio. After the winds of 2 weeks ago and a tree falling down in our garden, we decided (reluctantly) that it was safer and for the best to have it down. It was a beautiful tree, especially when it blossomed, and it wasn't an easy decision to make but it had to be done. The guy who cut it down is a wood turner and so he will make bowls, ornaments etc out of it. At least it's not just been binned.
