Rain, rain, rain, cloudy?

Today it's been raining a lot!!! That was taken around noon, in Sant Cugat, probably a bit before... At that moment the rain was not so strong.

Afterwards I headed to Barcelona through the most nice road we have around here, the Arrabassada. It conects Barcelona with Sant Cugat, 6km of curves climbing up surrounded by forests and then another 6km rolling down seeing the sea and the whole city, no big trees in that side of the mountain, at least no as many as in the other side. This side of the mountains has a southern climate, the first one a northern climate.

On the southern side young boys and girls try to prove themselves something, racing and running up and down, and many have died on it. The other side is full of cycles, walkers and others. One mountain 2 different worlds. But, both sides are amazing and filled with boars, so hunting is kind of allowed to keep them at a nice number.

By the way, the road goes through "Collserola", a group of little mountains that limit the city on it's western side. And if you haven't noticed it I'm in love with that mountain range and that road. Nothing similar to all that amazing mountains I've seen in some blips, but a place filled with secrets and magic for me.

So, the rain was so strong as I was descending to Barcelona I had a great excuse to stop and enjoy one of my favorite songs "Boomerang", that was just playing inthe radio, I had to rise to volume to unhealthy levels to hear something with all that rain hitting the car.

Now all the rain is gone and we just have a cloudy day...

I'll try to shot some of the magic of the mountain... Well, al least this is the street where the road starts... :-)
