'Rest in Peace Uncle Rex'

My uncle Rex died last night.

When I was very young, my big sister told me that his real name was Tyrannosaurus Rex and I believed her, way into by teens (and maybe beyond!!).

He had a wickedly dry, sarcastic sense of humour. He was a huge Rangers fan (don't hold that against him) and he loved drinking in Tennants bar in Byres Road when it was a 'no women allowed' bar.

We hadn't seen him for years and he never met Joe or Pip. How awful not to have seen him in so long.

Love to his family and my family and to my mum, who lost her big brother last night.

(Yes, I have changed my blip, as I'm a bit all over the shop today. I think this is a bit cheerier).
