A Song Thrush
I've been looking for things to blip for this weeks' challenge. I thought springs (as in mechanical things), daffodils, budding trees and then thought birds.
This fine example of a Song Thrush has come to us from a museum schools outreach department. I think it has been in school for a good twenty years so one of my tasks today is to contact the museum and offer to give it back.
Does it fit in the spring challenge? Well, there are birds around all year but it's spring when song thrushes pair up. Thankfully, they're not regarded as a threatened species. Unfortunately, this individual was.
Hope viewers of yesterdays' blip recognise that my Dad has a sense of humour!
