Energy

Energy can come in so many forms. The life giving energy of the sun is filled with deadly radiation. The power plants we use for electric are powered by radioactive material. Amazing to me how we can live and die by the same source.

The sunset was a fiery red tonight on the way home from the grocery store. I snapped off a few pictures and headed home. Opened the memory card while turning on the news. The picture matched the story I was hearing about possible radiation leaks at the plant in Japan. I can imagine the halo around the sun as being radioactive.

The people of Japan continue to endure tragedy. I continue to pray for them.

The image was shot quickly on automatic. I didn't stop to take the shot. I still like the effect.
