Rain...

The miserable weather today had me grumbling as usual about the rain and the lack of photographic subjects in the wet greyness until I passed this sculpture on the corner of Lothian Road and Festival Square.

The sculpture is Woman and Child to honour all those killed or imprisoned in South Africa during the time of aparthied.

Made me think ... I bet she or anyone caught in the refugee camps in war torn Sudan or Ethiopia wouldn't be grumbling about the rain at all ... funny how its all so subjective.
