Summer nights like this

A quiet day and no melodrama. Just reading, sleeping, eating. Tomorrow it's back to work. It's been nice to have two days of respite, having not called or personally communicated with anyone at all. This next week is all night shifts as well. You start to feel a bit withdrawn from the world after a week of night shifts. Sometimes it's nice.
