This wasn't the photo I was looking to take.

As the water on Salford Quays and the Manchester Ship Canal was so still, I'd planned on getting a semi-moody silhouette/reflection of a bird resting on the water.

But this was how it turned out - at the last second, all four seagulls took flight.

A happy accident, I reckon!
