Clicking Needles

Today we would like to send a HUGE thank you to Clicking Needles Knitting Club. Here are the wonderful ladies who have made us a whopping 122 bears. THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU

These bears will be going to two destinations - part of them will make up the rest of the batch going to Iraq, and the remainder will be destined for South Africa.

Little Blue is happily accomodated in Pakistan, shortly to visit and distirbute toys to a pedeatric blood transfusion unit.

We really are thrilled to already have toys spreading round the world. And the help that we have is becoming international too. At last count, we had people from England, Pakistan, Scotland, Belgium, South Africa, Italy, America and Iraq involved. Which is fantastic.

Of course, this is just the start. If you want to see what this can grow to, and how many children we can make a difference to, then join us - we still need many more people to knit, sew, crochet or patchwork new friends for children in situations of distress.
