Dumped...

A Fella close to me got an email this morning.

An "eDear John".....

Dumped by email, a classy aspect of the 21st century communication revolution.

As an Old Fashioned Guy, he would have preferred a phone call, or, Gawd help us, an ACTUAL letter.

The Fella is unhappy, for obvious reasons.
He cut a chunk out of his life, and gave it away.
Never a Shylock, he never expected a return for his pound.
Just expected the usual "quid pro quo" of any relationship.

My friend, the abovementioned Fella, is gutted.

And discarded.

(here is a tip for lovers, or potential lovers, or just those who cherish good manners................dont dump by email. Its just wrong.)
