Marker
I was finished at the swimming baths by 10.30 this morning. I have a weekly target of lengths and three big swims a week will achieve this. If I go on a Monday and get 1/3 out of the way I always think of it as putting down a marker for the week. Makes me less agitated around Wednesday/Thursday when I'm wondering if I'm going to get my lengths in. An alternative is to simply reduce the target, but most weeks I'm there round about, more or less.
A few readers/subscribers have noticed a certain similarity between my blips and someone calling themself klammeresque, it's almost as if they're, ahem, copying me, both in style and musical tastes. Well, time to let the blipcat out of the blipbag, there is another one of me running around at large, think of it as a colour supplement to this stuff. There's no journal written and the whole exercise is a wee bit more minimal than what you're getting here. If you like my stuff here there's really no reason why you won't appreciate the klammeresque stuff either. I was going to announce this extra curricular activity when I reached 100 blips, but it proved harder than I thought to stay anonymous for that long. I didn't help the disguise by leaving clues though I freely admit.
Been reliving my youth on my travels with some C86 jingly-jangly stuff. I used to be a real indie kid, now I just talk about it. Had this one rattling around my head all morning. Enjoy.
