Wild Strawberries

Sunday lazy Sunday......

Enough of these wee treats to freshen the mouth and stir my imagination. How well could I survive if I was in a situation where I had to forage for my tucker???

Probably not too well I think. I remember having a book in my collection many years ago that outlined and listed how to survive and I thought then that it would be an interesting study through life to garner and gather relevant information and experience of wild foods.........and as usual that is where it remained....a thought !

My little grey cells have been stirred by the earthquakes and tsunami of recent weeks. We are collectively an abhorrent species, caught up in our own self importance and bound by objects desired when really we should probably be fine tuning our wants and needs and honing the skills of our ancestors who lived and died making the most of what they had or making what they needed.

Enough of this diatribe.......

Wild strawberries ......sweet morsels of primal past.
