My First Pumpkin

Without planting any seeds, but some heavy mulching, I ended up with a HUGE pumpklin vine spreading it's leafy tendrils in every direction and getting stuck in the unmowed lawn. :S

Since Neil, my other half decided to mow the lawns today, I had to rescue the vine quickly and found a plethera of baby pumpkins! Some were too small to keep at the end of a few meters worth of vine, so they went, but I did keep the few that were larger and well on the way. :)

This is the largest so far and I can't wait til they're ready so I can make up a tasty pumpkin soup, mmmm yum!
