Claremont

Went to Claremont Landscape Garden this afternoon. Great place to take the kids as unlike some National Trust gardens, it is fairly small with lots of things to keep little ones amused.... grottos, a small thatched cottage and the all important children's play area.

This is what I found impressive though. It's a grass amphitheatre, where they apparently hold open air events in the summer months.

Perhaps more intriguingly, there were white chairs which were randomly placed around the lake... they looked quite bizarre!
