come in 3's

Said to hubby, the goldfinches always seem to come in threes ! And they do !
Inbetween an early start to get to Manchester (visitors today were Sale Utd, not as exotic as last weeks who were from Australia!) and getting back in time to get to Lytham for the twins' game, I restocked the feeders and the goldfinch descended immediately on the nyjer...given I have not done a birdy blip for a while, this wasn't the clearest but was the only one with 3 in the frame.

Still cannot comprehend the disaster in Japan. I am not one to follow the news, but these were images I shall never forget.
