amelie and her godparents

Day of rest today! We had a nice brunch with Jan and James before they went back to Edinburgh. We will miss them! Its been great having them down. Amelie has enjoyed it too. She has been very out of sorts today and I think that as well as teeth, its all been a bit much for her. She fell asleep on the changing table as Daddy was drying her! And then again whilst being put into her sleeping bag. No doubt those pesky teeth will wake her up around midnight though. I'm finding the only thing that works is nurofen and although I'm not keen on giving it too her too much, its amazing stuff for teeth troubles.

Jan is my best friend and James, her other half, is Chris' cousin. I met Chris at Jan's 21st birthday bbq. They are the only people apart from Amelie's actual Auntie and Uncles that we call Auntie and Uncle. I know that the role of Auntie or Uncle is a special one and I wouldn't want to take that away from them. They are Amelie's godparents along with my brother Donald and Chris' sister Emma.
