Deep in contemplation

Much better weather today. Dickie (the wonder dog) and I went for a walk from the village - very muddy from the recent snow and rain - but lovely to be out in mild conditions and dry air.

As we passed a cottage at Hack Bank I stopped to look at this little figure who appeared to be completely absorbed in his own thoughts. I've used the artistic history brush to blur the background and try to give more of a fairytale atmosphere.

We had a great walk for 2 hours and returned home happy (and muddy).
