A Flutterby

When my mum used to bring food to the table we used to sing Dolly Parton's, 'Love is like a Butterfly' in homage to Carla Lane's sitcom,'Butterflies'.

It was a cheeky comment on mum's cooking, which actually is very good.

For some reason we also used to pretend she was Mrs Overall from Acorn Antiques.

Again, she was nothing like Mrs Overall.

The things you do!

We love our mum.

This is of course a thingummy butterfly. My education in Biology didn't really focus on classification but I admire people who have the skill, or memory, or both.
